2025 Genesis G70 Unchanged, Priced from $43,250
The Genesis G70 rolls into its sixth year on sale, well into face-lift age for a modern car. For 2024, it received a new base engine and a smattering of interior trim upgrades. For 2025, the only change to the Korean sports sedan is a newly available Burleigh Blue Matte paint option; otherwise, the G70 is unchanged.

Powertrain Specs and MPG
The G70 is available with two engine choices. The base mill is a turbocharged 2.5-liter four-cylinder shared with the brand’s larger vehicles, including the beefy GV80 SUV, but its 300 horsepower and 311 pounds-feet of torque are far less burdened in the comparatively svelte G70. For $8,450, buyers can upgrade to a twin-turbo 3.3-liter V-6 that generates 365 hp and 376 pounds-feet. An eight-speed automatic is the only transmission available, and both engines are offered with rear- and all-wheel drive.
With RWD, the 2.5-liter returns an EPA-rated 21/29/24 mpg city/highway/combined; AWD drops that to 20/28/23 mpg. The twin-turbo six gets an estimated 17/25/20 mpg with RWD and 17/23/19 mpg with AWD.

Availability and Pricing
The 2025 Genesis G70 will likely go on sale late this fall or this winter. Pricing (including $1,250 destination) is as follows:
- 2.5T RWD: $43,250
- 2.5T AWD: $45,350
- 3.5T RWD: $51,700
- 3.5T AWD: $53,800
Trim Levels and Safety Equipment
Every 2025 G70 includes a generous suite of advanced driver-assist systems, including forward collision warning with automatic emergency braking, adaptive cruise control, lane-centering steering, blind spot warning, rear cross-traffic alert with automatic emergency braking, a driver-attention monitor and automatic high beams.
Genesis has not yet released details of the 2025 model’s trim levels, but it’s safe to bet they’ll mimic the 2024 model’s. The 2024 G70 2.5T is available in two trim levels, Standard and Sport Prestige, and cars equipped with the twin-turbo six can be had in either Sport Advanced or Sport Prestige trims. The 3.3T Sport Advanced will likely mirror the 2.5T Advanced, but add variable-ratio steering, a variable exhaust system and upgraded front seats. The 3.3T Sport Prestige should offer some features, such as Nappa leather upholstery and a synthetic suede headliner, that are not available on any other trim level.
