What’s New?
In addition to the sold-out 100th Anniversary special edition and new Competizione trim, the Stelvio’s other significant changes come in the form of upgraded matrix-style adaptive LED headlamps and dark LED taillamps for the 2024 model year. Inside, the all-new 12.3-inch digital gauge cluster provides vehicle information that can be modified into three layouts: Evolved, Relax and Heritage.
Additionally, in the new Active Assist Plus Package, Alfa Romeo packs in considerable safety and driver-assist technology. The $700 package includes adaptive cruise control, lane-centering steering, forward collision warning with automatic emergency braking, traffic jam assist, traffic sign recognition, blind spot monitoring and a driver attention monitor.
Upscale Interior
The Stelvio’s upscale interior includes leather-trimmed sport seats with red stitching that are standard in the Competizione and optional for other trims; red leather and chocolate brown are also available for the Sprint, Veloce and Ti at varying prices. The Sprint, Ti and Veloce come fitted with a dark headliner and aluminum sport pedals. Nine exterior colors are available across the trims, and a Formula One-inspired steering wheel is standard.
Tech and Convenience
A navigation system, wireless charging pad, air quality system and auto-dimming rearview mirror can be found in each variation of the Stelvio. Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, SiriusXM Radio, keyless passive entry and remote start are some of the additional standard technology features.
The five-seat Stelvio also features heated front and rear seats, along with an eight-way power-adjustable driver’s seat and a hands-free power liftgate. Quadrifoglio trims feature a 12-way adjustable driver’s seat.
An eight-speaker audio system comes standard on the Sprint, Ti and Veloce, while the Competizione and Quadrifoglio boast 14-speaker Harman Kardon premium audio. (The 14-speaker system is also available as part of a $2,225 premium interior and sound package for the Sprint, Ti and Veloce.)
Powertrain Specs and MPG
The 2024 Stelvio comes standard with a 280-horsepower, turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine, which remains unchanged from 2023. The Quadrifoglio boasts a carbon-fiber driveshaft and hood, which conceals a strong 505-hp, twin-turbo 2.9-liter V-6 engine underneath. An eight-speed automatic transmission and rear-wheel drive are standard on the sprint; all-wheel drive is optional on the Sprint and standard on the rest of the lineup.
With the 2.0-liter engine and RWD, the Stelvio runs the most efficiently at an EPA-rated 25 mpg combined; AWD versions average 24 mpg combined, and the performance-oriented Quadrifoglio brings up the rear with 19 mpg combined.
