The 2023 Maserati Grecale is the brand’s second attempt to make an impact in the U.S. with luxury SUVs, and after debuting in March 2022, it’s finally available to test-drive and buy. Along with its arrival in showrooms comes a confirmation of price: The Grecale will have a base sticker of $64,995 (all pricing includes the $1,495 destination fee).

A smaller companion to the Levante, the compact Grecale embraces sleek exterior styling that aims to stand out from its rivals. Two powertrain options are offered: A 2.0-liter four-cylinder mild-hybrid unit makes a system total of 296 horsepower in the base GT and 325 hp in the Modena. Range-topping Trofeo models use the MC20’s Nettuno 523-hp, twin-turbo 3.0-liter V-6. All Grecale models come with standard all-wheel drive and an eight-speed automatic transmission.
The interior includes a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster and 8.8-inch touchscreen infotainment system as standard; a bigger 12.3-inch unit is available for the latter in higher trims. Both systems feature wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto as well as Amazon Alexa capability.
