With continuously variable automatic transmission and V-6 engine
The problem: Pathfinder SUV drivers may note a judder or shuddering coming from the CVT as it accelerates. This may be due to a defective CVT control valve inside the transmission, or the CVT might need to be replaced.
Corrective action: Dealers will either replace the consumer’s CVT control valve or the transmission.
Warranty info: This transmission problem repair is being done under either Nissan’s three-year/36,000-mile new-car limited warranty or its five-year/60,000-mile limited powertrain warranty.
