Corroded dash side harness connectors have prompted Nissan’s latest major recall of 125,200 Rogue compact SUVs.

Affected vehicles include model-year 2017 Rogues that were produced at the brand’s plant in Smyrna, Tenn. Water may leak into the dash side harness connector and cause corrosion, increasing the risk of a fire and injury.
To resolve the issue, dealers will grease and repair any corroded connector for free. Nissan will begin notifying owners Jan. 20, 2023, but those with questions in the meantime can call Nissan at 800-867-7669 (Nissan’s number for this recall is PC934), the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration’s vehicle-safety hotline at 888-327-4236, or visit its website to check your vehicle identification number and learn more.
